"My name is Joe Donovan, I am an Outside Sales Account Executive for FASTSIGNS of Asheville. We are a local visual communications company specializing in helping businesses tell their story through customized signs and graphics.
Although not a native, I have called Asheville home since my arrival during Bele Chere weekend in 2006. Since that time I've been blessed with many authentic relationships throughout all facets of our community from business owners to leaders in the non-profit sector. My past experiences in local media, the nonprofit world, and business equipment sales have allowed me an unique understanding and perspective on the growth we have all experienced around Western North Carolina.
My goal is to learn more about Western Carolinians - the people, businesses, organizations - and help them make their statement. The aesthetics of our area are very important to me and by spending a little time and care to do it right, we at FASTSIGNS are adding to the beauty of our region everyday.
I am a graduate of Western Carolina University with a degree in Sport Management. Working for a professional hockey team in Nashville, Tennessee before returning home to the mountains where I met my bride. We now have two amazing young daughters and a couple of decent cats. I am an active member of Valley Hope Church in Swannanoa and still enjoy reliving my glory days playing pickup basketball in the “LEGENDS” group at the downtown Asheville YMCA."
